Vitality Prize Money: All-Time CS Rankings

In the history of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports, Team Vitality has set a new milestone. By defeating MOUZ 3-0 in the ESL Pro League Season 24 grand final, they not only won the championship but also rose to the top of the all-time prize money rankings. Through this achievement, the French organization has established itself as the highest prize-winning team in Counter-Strike history. Vitality's victory in the grand final was the result of solid performances across multiple maps. On Dust2, MOUZ pushed them to overtime, but Vitality secured the win at 16-12. They won Cache 13-8 and Inferno 13-7. This result proves Vitality's consistent superiority in the series, although the Dust2 overtime shows MOUZ was not lacking in competitiveness. The greatest significance of this victory is Vitality's rise to the top of the all-time prize money list. According to Liquipedia data, before this win, Vitality was approximately $91,000 behind NAVI. But after winning the ESL Pro League Season 24 title, they accumulated $13,886,593 in total prize money, while NAVI's total stands at $13,682,460. This means Vitality is now ahead by $204,133. This gap is relatively small, as a single mid-tier event could flip the top spot. Behind Vitality's success are multiple historical achievements. This is their fourth ESL Pro League title, the most by any organization. Previously, NAVI, MOUZ, Astralis, and Fnatic had each won three titles. Vitality has won three of the last four seasons, proving their consistency. If this trend continues, they may maintain their top position in the prize money rankings in the future. Alongside team success, Vitality players have shone in individual performances. Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut achieved a 1.65 rating in the final and was selected as the event's Most Valuable Player (MVP). This is the 34th MVP of his career, establishing him as one of the greatest players in the game's history. Meanwhile, Robin 'ropz' Kool won his sixth ESL Pro League title, a record. He has won this title with three different organizations—MOUZ, FaZe, and Vitality—proving his exceptional adaptability. Analyzing this prize money list reveals a clear trend: the dominance of European organizations at the top level of Counter-Strike. All the top teams on the list—Vitality, NAVI, MOUZ, Astralis, and Fnatic—are European-based. No American or Asian organization is at the top of this list. This means the all-time prize money ranking is effectively a reflection of European competitive history. However, an important aspect of this list is that it is sourced from community-maintained databases like Liquipedia. As a result, older or smaller events may not be fully included. Additionally, this snapshot dated October 12, 2026 is not permanent; the order may shift again as teams compete in upcoming events. Valve's official rankings update monthly, which plays an important role in determining Major tournament invitations. Recent predictions place Vitality first and MOUZ second. However, discrepancies between these predictions and official rankings can occur, often sparking debate. Vitality's next challenge is PGL Bucharest. Their performance at this event will determine whether they can maintain their top position in the prize money rankings. However, one thing is clear: Vitality's success has ushered in a new era in Counter-Strike's competitive environment, where one organization has demonstrated the ability to maintain long-term dominance.
